Swirling flowers in frames! Twisting papers and swirling them into flower petals can be a quite fun activity :) Once I get excited about an idea I just kept making them in many colours....also in many different card designs...I have done them before without the frames but I felt putting them in frames gave me more freedom. During my free time I could make as many flowers as I wish and put them aside...so whenever I wish to make a card I could just take the framed flowers, paste them on it and in no time I got myself a flower card! So easy!

Layered coloured flowers

I love the technique of layering coloured papers to make flowers. Sometimes I even layer the leaves. It gives the flowers and leaves some tones to it. Looks cheerful and bright! :) Each card comes with a matching handmade envelope and is left blank on the inside for writing on personal wishes.

This is a series of colourful butterfly on flowers that I have done some years back. I usually will do the design with different colour schemes. I love to experiment with colours!
I made the butterfly using a rubber stamp. It's the first rubber stamp that I bought. :)

A friend of mine called the cards I made above as "curry puffs" cards as she thinks they looked like curry puffs :). I liked the design so much that I tried making them using a few colour combinations. The flowers and leaves I made using craft punches. This was the first time I got craft punches and experimented with them. I made these cards in 2004, quite a long time ago...

Each card comes with a matching handmade envelope and is left blank on the inside for writing on personal wishes.

Teacher's Day cards

TD001

TD002

TD003

First time ever this year I was asked by a client to design Teacher's Day cards.. no matter how hard I try I just couldn't stop from incorporating flowers in my designs. The only difference this time is that I tried putting the wordings in the leaves of the flowers. I love the idea so much that I even thought of using them for birthdays and other occasions as all that was needed to do was change the wordings...the design can remain the same. :) I made many designs for Teacher's day but these are special to me because of the leaves :)

Laces on cards

I made these for a client for Mother's day...she wanted the cards to have laces on them and I tried making a few but these are my favourites. The rose paper are hand carved and layered with an organza ribbon underneath it to create a shiny effect.

Paper Doily

AO004 (NOT AVAILABLE)

This is the first time ever I've tried using paper doily to make greeting cards. Pretty hard in the beginning to decide how do I go about applying it on a card. I made this design for a customer.  It's meant for the Mother's day occasion. But this card is also suitable for any other special occasions. :)
